Siddhartha Upadhyay, Founder and President of STAIRS Foundation, recently met Shri Hari Ranjan Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and Director General, Sports Authority of India (SAI), along with Dr. D. Bhalla, Chief Advisor, STAIRS Foundation.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share the vision of One India One Goal — STAIRS’ flagship mission to channel the energy of India’s youth through sports, inclusion, and nation-building. Discussions centred around the importance of integration and collective effort in advancing the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Nation First.
As STAIRS approaches its 25th anniversary in 2025, Siddhartha Upadhyay emphasized the Foundation’s role as a National Sports Promotion Organisation (NSPO) recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and its commitment to creating structured opportunities for grassroots sports, talent identification, and youth empowerment across the country. The alignment of STAIRS’ initiatives with upcoming government plans for youth and sports development was also a key highlight of the interaction.
