Empowering Youth Since 2000
STAIRS State Games are structured, state-level multi-sport competitions created to make grassroots sports stronger, more organised, and more accessible across districts. The idea is simple: give young athletes a credible platform in their own state, where participation is widespread, competition is fair, and talent is noticed early.
Each edition brings together districts, schools, academies, and local sports communities under one common calendar. Athletes don’t just compete—they experience real tournament systems, learn discipline and sportsmanship, and build confidence through structured exposure.
Most importantly, STAIRS State Games are built as a pathway, not a one-time event. They aim to support the journey from local participation to bigger opportunities—while helping states build a visible, consistent, and growing sports culture year after year.
Embodying the spirit of One India, One Goal, the EBEL Awards aim to inspire a national ethos where development is youth-centric, inclusive, and value-driven. These honours aspire to stand among the world’s foremost recognitions for public impact, positioning India as a thought leader in empowering the next generation through transformative action.
From community champions to global change-makers, the EBEL Awards shine a spotlight on those shaping the future with integrity, innovation, and vision.
State Launch + Calendar
We begin with a clear state-level announcement and a published calendar—so athletes, schools, academies, and districts know what’s coming and can plan early.
District Participation + Entries
Districts and partner institutions mobilise participation and submit entries through a simple registration process. This ensures wide outreach and smooth coordination on the ground.
Competitions + Talent Spotting
Events are conducted in a structured format across venues, with performance tracking and early-stage talent identification to support athletes for the next level of opportunity.
Grassroots Participation at Scale
STAIRS State Games bring sports to the widest base—districts, schools, academies, and local communities—so more young people get a real platform to compete and grow.
Early Talent Identification
By creating a structured competitive environment, the Games help spot promising athletes early—especially those who may not yet have access to elite systems or visibility.
Structured Pathway for Young Athletes
The Games are designed as a stepping stone—helping athletes move from local participation to higher opportunities through a clear, organised progression.
